Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of Garnisment Administrator to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA!
This position reports to the Payroll Manager. This role is primarily responsible for processing payroll and personnel transactions for a designated geography, such as keying new hires, terminations, status changes, etc., in compliance with federal and state laws and Company policies and procedures. Handles high volume payroll tasks, which requires interaction with employees and managers. Consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company’s Purpose, Vision, Values, and DNA.
Position Summary
- Processes court ordered wage garnishments, including child support, student loans, wage
assignments, bankruptcy orders, state and federal tax levies - Collects and maintains electronic files for all withholding orders
- Enters wage garnishment orders in our payroll system in an accurately and timely manner
- Enters deductions on employee master files
- Sets up garnishment vendors appropriately
- Ensures payroll deduction reports are run timely and are accurate and in compliance with law
- Ensures all garnishment payments are accurate and in compliance with withholding orders
- Researches and responds to inquiries from employees, courts, state and federal agencies and
others regarding garnishment orders - Assists as needed to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of garnishment accounts and
establishes Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) of payments to comply with jurisdiction rules - Provides progress reports to appropriate team members
- Maintain highly confidential employee data and files.
- Responds to daily and biweekly Answers to Interrogatories
- Notification daily of terminations to agencies

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1+ year experience in garnishment administration desired
- Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including MS Word and
Excel required - Exposure to payroll procedures, laws, taxes, and best practices at the federal, state and local
levels preferred - Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Must provide a criminal background check

Computer software:
proficient/or ability to become proficient within first 3 months in using computer and computer software, including but not limited to: MS Office, payroll system, time and attendance systems and other systems as required
Machine operation:
Copier, fax, calculator, computer and other office equipment.
