Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects concurrently, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project meetings, provide status updates to stakeholders, and address any impediments.
- Collaborate closely with developer resources overseas to ensure smooth transitions of new systems and applications into production.
- Develop and implement support plans, knowledge base articles, and training materials for new technologies.
- Identify opportunities to optimize support processes, improve incident resolution, and enhance user experience through project initiatives.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet operational readiness requirements for ongoing support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, technical teams, and end-users.
- Communicate project status, issues, and risks clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, resolve issues, and gain consensus.
- Technical Acumen & Problem Solving:
- Possess a solid understanding of various IT domains (e.g., infrastructure, networking, software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity).
- Be able to understand technical complexities and translate them into actionable project tasks.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and roadblocks in collaboration with technical teams.
- Quality Assurance & Documentation:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet defined quality standards.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, test plans, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an IT support role (e.g., Help Desk, Desktop Support, Systems Administrator), demonstrating a strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles.
- Proficiency in project management software (Jira, Confluence, Monday, Hubspot, etc.)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with specific technologies relevant to your organization (e.g., cloud platforms like Azure/GCP, CRM systems, ERP systems).
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple versions of Microsoft SQL Server (e.g., SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022).
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL for querying, scripting, and automation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
