Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of Menu System Specialist to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA.
This hybrid position reports to the Corporate Nutrition Manager and collaborates with the Corporate Office and Operations teams to support and optimize the functionality of the menu management and analysis software. The Menu System Specialist position is a combination of program administration, quality assurance/process improvement and clinical/operational support services work, bridging the gap between culinary operations and the tools used to manage and deliver menu related information. The Menu System Specialist must work well in a team-oriented environment, maintaining a strong focus on customer service while effectively adapting to changing priorities.

Position Summary
- Utilize the menu management and analysis software to generate, maintain, and update menu cycles.
- Ensure consistency throughout the menu management and analysis software database by maintaining menus and food items in accordance with corporate standards.
- Support the bi-annual menu review process for each assigned division.
- Identify and resolve issues related to the menu system, working with vendors and internal teams to find solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear technical requirements for vendor partners.
- Generate, review, and distribute menu reporting, including but not limited to, Week-at-a-Glance, diet extensions, and nutrition analyses.
- Support the operational team by resolving Helpdesk tickets assigned to the department.
- Provide menu management and analysis software training and troubleshooting support, as necessary, via screen share, remote meetings, and/or phone support.
- Conducts systems audits, as directed.
- Updates Intranet site to include all related training and instructional material for Dining and Nutrition Services Department.
- Support the development of promotional menus for themed meals and national food days.
- Participate in meetings, committees and other related work groups.
- Work on special projects, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
- Experience in Food and Nutrition services preferred.
- Strong understanding of menu management software and its functionality.
- Menu writing experience preferred.
- Excellent computers skills, including Microsoft Office products; ability to learn and master new software programs required.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work flow to deliver results and complete assignments within deadlines, with a limited amount of direct supervision, and oftentimes managing multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- The ability to work under pressure within a team and independently.
- Effective interpersonal skills in relating with peers, management and internal customers.
