Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of (LOA) Leave of Absence Administrator to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA!
JOB PURPOSE: This role is primarily responsible for coordinating and administering Leaves of Absence (LOA) and Disability processes, company-wide and across multiple states. Determine and communicate eligibility and available benefits to employees using knowledge of federal and state leave regulations and Company policies and procedures. Handle a high volume of leave of absence cases and intake of constant daily requests and questions on LOA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administers LOA for employees across multiple states, in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as Company policies and procedures.
- Determines employee eligibility for LOA, including but not limited to FMLA, ADA and state-specific leaves.
- Reviews benefit coverages, determines which forms are necessary, and mails required forms to employee.
- Tracks employee LOA and maintains documentation necessary for regulatory needs.
- Identifies and advises management of trends and problems, as well as recommended course of action; informs management of new procedures and ideas for continuous process improvement.
- Ensures that the LOA and ADA policy is being applied consistently and properly by managers and supervisors by providing proactive training and guidance in conjunction with HR leadership.
- Work cross functionally with multiple departments in regards to Employee Relations, Benefits, Worker’s Compensation and Payroll to ensure Company requirements are met.
- Maintain highly confidential employee files and ensure HIPPA compliance.
- Assists with departmental mailings as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources, Benefits, or LOA administration required
- Demonstrated understanding of federal, state, and local laws as they relate to LOA and ADA
- Demonstrated understanding of benefits administration preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year institution required; relevant industry experience may be acceptable in place of degree
- Holds self accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
- Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Proficiency in building and maintaining good working relationships with others
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office; ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of other systems as required
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize to deliver results and complete assignments within deadlines with a limited amount of direct supervision, and oftentimes managing multiple priorities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
