Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is currently seeking to fill the position of  Order Guide and Menu Costing Coordinator - Dining Services to join our growing Corporate Team in Bensalem, PA.

This hybrid position reports to the Corporate Dining Manager and collaborates with other corporate office teams and field-based operators as well as numerous vendor/supplier partners. The Order Guide and Menu Costing Coordinator position will support the Corporate Dining Team with various tasks related to order guide/formulary management and menu pricing analysis

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily maintenance and organization of the Dining Service program vendor order guides/formularies that are managed in house
  • Collaborate with and provide support to third-party order guide managers
  • Coordinate with the Menu Management team to ensure that specified products are aligned with menu needs
  • Identify product optimization opportunities to enhance program valu
  • Lead weekly update calls
  • Serve as the in-house expert for Dining Service’s menu costing tools
  • Identify process improvement strategies related to costing calculation tools and methods
  • Prepare monthly menu cost samples and trend reporting
  • Perform ad hoc menu/program pricing exercise, as needed 
  • Actively participate as a resource on cross-departmental collaboration projects and ad-hoc administrative tasks and initiatives
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in purchasing or relevant equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in food procurement/food industry preferred
  • Ability to learn and master new software programs 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing order guide data
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Solid problem solving skills; ability to think quickly, critically, and strategically
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adjust priorities to meet deadlines and focus on the most important business issues
  • Effective written and speaking skills to communicate with colleagues, related departments, and other stakeholders
  • Willingness to continually develop and maintain food service and healthcare industry knowledge

  • Must be able to speak, read and write English to communicate effectively with partners.
